TROY, N.Y. (AP) — Two men have been arrested on murder charges in the deaths of two girls and two youngsters in their upstate New York condominium.
Justin Mann and James White pleaded not responsible to murder charges Saturday in Troy. Both are from Schenectady (skeh-NEHK’-tuh-dee).
The Times-Union says Mann appeared to interrupt down as he was led out of court docket. Both men are being held in county jail.
A property supervisor discovered 36-year-old Shanta Myers; her youngsters, 11-year-old Jeremiah Myers and 5-year-old Shanise Myers; and 22-year-old Brandi Mells in a basement condominium alongside the Hudson River, simply north of Albany on Tuesday. Police say the 2 girls have been in a relationship.
Police Chief John Tedesco says he has “by no means seen savagery like this” in 42 years in legislation enforcement.
